Genre and audience

This music magazine is going to be about hip hop/rap. My target audience is 16-25. I am going to use the right register to attract them to my magazine. MY audience is going to be everyone but young teenagers because the artist is an up coming one.

Flat plans

For my flat plans I had to think of ideas what to put on it. That I need a contents page , double spread page and articles and advertisment. I was thinking of making advertisements about mobile phones and have a poster in the middle of the magazine about a music artist. My article is going to be about an up and coming artist. My advertisements are going to be about links the deodrant , JD and other things that young people are interested in.

Preliminary excercise

I finish my preliminary excercise I had to create a front cover which I had to do my page setup Gutter: 4 mm Inside: 10 mm Outside: 10 mm Top: 10 mm Bottom: 15 mm  Columns: 4 Gutter: 4 mm A4 portrait. Then what I did next is I made my masthead ,date , barcode and the things going to write about the college and I also had a picture of me. In my contents page I put all of the things my college advertise for students.
